After auditions were held on November 14 and 15,the tap dancing spring musical Crazy For You is up and running! The musical stars senior Cooper Johnson as Bela Zangler, senior Austin Allwein as Bobby Child, senior Cody Conway as Lank Hawkins, junior Alec Smith as Everett Baker, and senior Shelby Varra as Polly Baker. The cast has already started their three months of rehearsals and preparations for the show.\

Sophomore Katherine Sheldon is a key part of Crazy For You, being the girl responsible for teaching the cast how to tap dance.

“It was really intimidating at first. I feel like the older kids should be telling me what to do! But they’ve been really supportive,” Sheldon said. “So far, we’ve only had one read through and two tap classes, but things are already looking really good! Everyone’s catching on quick and I’m happy with how things are turning out.”

Crazy for You will be premiering the first and second weekends of March.
