“The Call” Movie Review

By Shantel Schwehr

If you are ever bored on a Saturday night, you should consider going to see a movie, specifically “The Call”.

This movie is about a determined 911 operator who takes the case of an abducted girl into her own hands. It is rated R due to high violence and disturbing content, however it is most definitely worth the time and the money.

Although some parts in the beginning were a bit slow, this movie did a fantastic job of keeping every viewer on the edge of their seats throughout the entire film. The various kidnapping scenarios were extremely realistic, and most definitely keeps the viewer thinking.

The suspense added an exciting flare to the movie, and nearly every scene was packed with excitement and emotion from both the audience and the actors. Not only that, but the ending was crafted to perfection and left the crowd on their feet.

Overall, I was very impressed with this film and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking to be entertained.
